    Getting High

One of my ambitions for baithive is the ability to strap it high up - with relative ease. You have an increased chance of catching a swarm at height. You also can leave the swarm up there if you happen to catch one and you know they are not going to get in the way of the general public.  This hive actually returned a swarm later that month (so it paid off). The problem became apparent that its difficult to adjust the nylon strapping on the bait hives whilst clinging to a tree at height. It works well when attached, but getting the right lengths has to be done before hand so you can clip it to the tree in one action. After hanging this hive, I decided to also include hooked bungees with the hives when they are sold to be used with the nylon straps and aid in securing the hives with ease.
